 Riverside Medical Center Laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission.

Laboratory – RMC laboratory is a full service lab that provides 24 hours a day, seven days a week, coverage.

The laboratory takes pride in accepting all patient orders from any physician’s office so that all our patients needs may be accommodated here at home. 

The laboratory also provides services for local nursing homes and home health agencies.  In the last year the laboratory has expanded by bringing in approximately 30 additional tests to better accommodate our patients needs. 

Some of this testing includes the following, Iron.  Total iron binding capacity (TIBC), Vitamin B12, Folate, C-relative protein, Rheumatoid factor, Traceable creatinine, Glomerular  filtration rate (GFR), Beta HCG, Micro albumin, and Prealbumin testing. 

The laboratory provides quality care with the latest technology in laboratory equipment and is accredited by the Joint Commission. 

Any testing that is not performed in house will be sent out to a reference lab for testing.  The laboratory provides a full range of testing.

The department provides quality patient care with highly qualified personnel.

There are full-time technologists that work different shifts for 24-hour, 7-day a week coverage with phlebotomists on all shifts.

Each technologist operates as a Generalist performing all duties in the laboratory with the exception of Microbiology; there are specific technologists that perform Microbiology.

We offer all laboratory services including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Blood Banking.
