Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Emergency Department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is staffed with a Board Certified Physician, specially trained nurses and other personnel. The Emergency Department has a new patient monitoring system with the capability of monitoring invasive lines, carbon dioxide, and performs a 12 lead EKG with the touch of a button. This system is portable and if necessary may be transferred with the patient.
Another new piece of equipment found in the emergency department is a Glidescope to assist with difficult intubations (inserting a breathing tube), which can save precious minutes in the resuscitation process. | Board Certified Physicians are contracted through a national company to staff the emergency department. |
