About the Department:
The Rehab Department at Riverside Medical Center provides comprehensive physical and occupational therapy services to people of all ages. Speech therapy is provided on a limited basis. Common diagnoses/conditions treated include orthopedic injuries to the upper and lower extremities, strokes, burns, arthritis, pain, work injuries, amputations, and sports injuries. The department is located across the street from the hospital on Riverside Drive in a spacious facility. The facility has 4 private treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy area and a large gym with state of the art exercise equipment (weight machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, steppers, etc.). PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPY Riverside Medical Center’s Out Patient Rehab Department is housed in a 5000 square foot facility equipped with a full line of Cybex strengthening equipment, elliptical trainers, stationary cycles, treadmills, and balance training equipment. All staff are licensed and trained in their respective rehab fields. |
