Clinic Quality Improvement Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Clinics

REPORTS TO: Practice Manager

STATUS: Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observe needs and disparities in patient population. Maintain clinic functions in Excel for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid clinical quality requirements. Analyze population and patient data related to clinical care and outcomes. Stay abreast on current legislative changes in healthcare. Perform clinical reporting and data entry. Responsible for all cycles of data management. Maintain data integrity of metrics with regular presentation and communication of the data collected. Assists with Quality Improvement culture and work at RMC clinics. Collaborates with the Practice Administrator and medical clinic teams on value-based care work. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Louisiana.
Experience in managing and communicating data preferred.
Must be knowledgeable in compiling, organizing, and analyzing data is essential.
Must possess skill in understanding and communicating, both written and oral.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team environment and lead team-based projects.
Must possess high attention to detail.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications i.e., Excel, Word, and Power Point are strongly preferred

Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.

Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
