Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides comprehensive patient care under the direction of a licensed physician. This role is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional and compassionate manner.

Qualifications
• Current Louisiana Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license required.
• Two years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards.

Key Expectations
• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care within the scope of licensure and training.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Protect the confidentiality of patient, financial, medical, and employment information.
• Comply with all hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to ensure quality patient care.
