Position Summary

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the hospital and affiliated facilities. This role plays an important part in supporting patient safety, infection prevention, and the overall patient experience by ensuring all assigned areas meet established cleanliness standards.

Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital, healthcare, or related environment preferred.
-Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Dependable with strong time management and organizational skills.
-Emotional maturity and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
-Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties throughout the hospital and affiliated facilities.
-Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces according to established procedures.
-Safely handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials.
-Restock housekeeping supplies and report supply needs as necessary.
-Follow infection control, safety, and environmental services standards.
-Operate housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests and departmental needs.
-Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
-Perform additional duties as assigned.
-Adhere to all safety and HIPPA regulations
