Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department. This role coordinates nursing care with the medical plan of care, ensures patient safety, and delivers high-quality, compassionate treatment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
•Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
•Strong clinical nursing skills and effective verbal communication abilities.
•Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and remain calm under pressure.
•Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and function effectively as part of a healthcare team.
•Must be able to follow department standards, policies, and procedures.
•Emotional maturity and the ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations.
•Current Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia certification and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
•Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.

•Provide safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care.
•Maintain confidentiality of all patient, financial, medical, and employment information.
•Adhere to established safety policies and practices.
•Identify and report safety concerns and take appropriate corrective action.
•Participate in required safety and continuing education programs.
